Beekeeping Incursion
Looking for a beekeeping incursion? Did you know 1/3 of Australia’s food production reliant on bee pollination? We all know bees for that sweet, sweet liquid gold, but do your kindergarten students know why bees are so important? Well, the first challenge is keeping them interested, and that’s where we come into it.
We can proudly say that we have developed the perfect program to have children and adults of any age truly fascinated, and engaging with our program as you have never seen before. Read our reviews below for first-hand experience.
Our bee incursions are the perfect conversation starter for preschool students to explore and learn about bees, pollination and why they are so important. In our incursion, students will learn about the different types of bees inside a hive and the jobs they have, they will learn in simple terms about pollination and how we can help save the bees.
Our beekeeping incursions are presented by director Michael Church, who is passionate about sustainable living. The aim of this show is to highlight how important not only bees are, but all pollinators and educating the public on habits we can change to become more sustainable households.
Changing our local landscape, 1 show at a time
For each show booked we have made the pledge to do some good.. For each Busy Bees Incursion booked, we will gift you a small tree to plant in your yard. We care about our local environment so we are putting our money/trees were our mouth is! Watch the tree blossom and spark conversations about bees and pollinators.
